I have problems with the mousepad buttons on my compaq presario v2000, on which SuSE linux 10.0 is installed. In most cases they perform actions after I release the buttons, rather than as soon as I click them. As a result, it's very difficult to drag or highlight anything. On Windows I have no such problem with the touchpad, and the usb mouse works fine in both cases. I've being trying to find the right command in xorg.conf to fix my problems with the touchpad buttons, but with no luck. Everything I see has to do with the touchpad configuration (tapping, etc.) rather than the actual mouse buttons. Two questions:

1) any advice?

2) where can I find a complete description of the "options" for the synaptics touchpad or the mouse in general?
