    No pretty KDE login screen

The nice looking blue KDE login screen, after a default install of SUSE with KDE, is missing. I tried removing a tonne of sh*t from my harddrive, cause it was getting too full, and I couldn't install OOo. I think i may have deleted too many files  How do I get the nice blue KDE login screen back?

Also, when I click the Kmenu and select "log off" I am only allowed TWO options, instead of the normal 5 or 6. The only two buttons that show are "Cancel" and "end current session." Shut down computer and restart computer have vanished.

omg --- what did i do, and how can I correct this?

    All help appreciated, thanks.

Did you just delete the files or did you uninstall packages? It sounds like you are missing kdm. You won't have as many options in the KDE logout dialog if KDM isn't running so that's normal. You just need to reinstall KDM.

you are getting only two options coz KDM is not set as a default Desktop Manager. set it as default Desktop Manager.

I changed it now to default manager, but I am getting a black screen now with a small grey window asking for user/pass (as if the screen was in "locked" mode) How can I get the default blue KDE login screen back?
