Is Training Worthwhile?

Hello everyone, a few have you may have seen my problems having to install suse 10.1 well im happy to say i`ve finnaly done it was down to a bad burn! anyway to the point im totally new to linux but want to learn as much as i can, im enrolled on a i.t apprenticeship so linux is beneficial. I`m wondering if these linux video based courses are worthwhile? for example (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Linux-Certific...QQcmdZViewItem)

As i`ve said i want to become some what better with linux as i now realise how wasted my knowledge within windows is..

My personal opinion is that it is worthwhile. If thats on your own through a book or video. Or attending a "reputable" course. CompTIA courses are in my experience usually fairly good.

Thanks for your opinion im totally new to linux as i said so i guess any form of education is beneficial!
