    Problems installing webcam. [PLEASE HELP!]

    Hi there,

I've set up suse on my new machine and its running like a dream. Apart from the fact that my webcam wont work at all!

doing a lsusb from konsole gives me the following line:

    Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0c45:60fe Microdia

Which is the recognition of the webcam being plugged in, but after that Im totally lost.

The webcam is a Mikomi brand which I bought from Argos a while back, but Im assuming since it comes up as a microdia in lsusb this is the type which I need drivers for.

    Any help greatly appreciated

I'm no webcam expert (mine is still non-functional ) but you have to find the driver that match the vendor ID and product ID that you found (the name is less important).
There are some close matches at: http://mxhaard.free.fr/spca5xx.html so maybe the spca5xx driver module will work.

    Other sources may be:

    -Good luck
