    Realplayer over mplayer

Ok so I just went ahead and set up my computer to use mplayer to do things like read dvd's and play wmv files. Now I can no longer see streaming realplayer vidos in realplayer. When I click on a real player video mplayer pops up in firefox and plays it. THe problem with this is it will only start with the beginning of the clip and there is no way to scan through it. Any ideas to get it so realplayer reads realplayer streaming video again? It worked before I set up mplayer.

Are you referring to the mplayerplug-in for firefox? If so, read this (http://mplayerplug-in.sourceforge.net/config.php) about configuring the plugin.

Yeah the plugin for firefox. So I just turn off the mplayer support for realplayer and realplayer should take that over? I iwll have to look through it a lot more so far I do not understand much of the article but hopefully i will when I can take an hour or two to dig through it.
