    Cannot Boot After Upgrade

    Hi.
I have just upgraded from 9.1 to 10.1. Installation went fine ( albeit 4.5 hours ).
When I went to restart my machine, BIOS loaded and then system hung with black screen and flashing cursor.
I checked my BIOS and everything was normal (floppy, CD, HD)
The only way I could get to boot was to move the CD up in the BIOS order and boot from CD1.

Has anyone else had this issue?

    okkk ! re-install GRUB.

boot from CD1 and click on installation. select 'upgrade' in next screen. dont select any new package. just click on next next..... it will install GRUB again.

It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
