No response to mouse clicks
I'm having a recurring problem of my mouse losing its ability to click, where I end up having to ctrl-alt-backspace out to the login screen. I have checked the system log and the following seems to appear every time it happens:
For reference, I'm running Suse 10.1, with gnome and compiz.Code:Nov 7 09:59:32 linux-3u1j gconfd (root-5668): starting (version 2.12.1), pid 5668 user 'root' Nov 7 09:59:32 linux-3u1j gconfd (root-5668): Resolved address "xml:readonly:/etc/opt/gnome/gconf/gconf.xml.mandatory" to a read-only configuration source at position 0 Nov 7 09:59:32 linux-3u1j gconfd (root-5668): Resolved address "xml:readwrite:/root/.gconf" to a writable configuration source at position 1 Nov 7 09:59:32 linux-3u1j gconfd (root-5668): Resolved address "xml:readonly:/etc/opt/gnome/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults" to a read-only configuration source at position 2 Nov 7 09:59:39 linux-3u1j gconfd (bogphanny-5718): starting (version 2.12.1), pid 5718 user 'bogphanny' Nov 7 09:59:39 linux-3u1j gconfd (bogphanny-5718): Resolved address "xml:readonly:/etc/opt/gnome/gconf/gconf.xml.mandatory" to a read-only configuration source at position 0 Nov 7 09:59:39 linux-3u1j gconfd (bogphanny-5718): Resolved address "xml:readwrite:/home/bogphanny/.gconf" to a writable configuration source at position 1 Nov 7 09:59:39 linux-3u1j gconfd (bogphanny-5718): Resolved address "xml:readonly:/etc/opt/gnome/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults" to a read-only configuration source at position 2 Nov 7 09:59:41 linux-3u1j gconfd (bogphanny-5718): Resolved address "xml:readwrite:/home/bogphanny/.gconf" to a writable configuration source at position 0 Nov 7 10:00:02 linux-3u1j gconfd (root-5668): GConf server is not in use, shutting down. I forgot to mention that I am using a Logitech MX 900 mouse.
