amarok has distorted and scratchy sound when playing mp3s
Hi I am using suse 10.1 with amarok. when I play mp3s, sometimes the sound gets very scratchy and distorted. also whenever I move a window, or resize, etc. the sound becomes scratchy. I noticed this after I installed xgl. Can anyone help me? thanks.

Sounds like your CPU is maxed out. What graphics card are you using for XGL, and also can you check if your CPU is running at 100% when you move windows?

i think it seems like it has something to do with nvidia drivers. i have geforce go 7400, core duo 1.83 ghz. and 1gb of ram. also when the screensaver comes on the sound gets scrachy also. does know if this is an issue with the nvidia drivers?
