    Not able to play ogg files in SuSe.

    I am not able to play ogg files in SuSe. In Amarok 1.4.4 using Xine engine lib 1.1.2 Im getting this error.
    Some media could not be loaded. (Not playable)

    Using Helix Banshee 0.10.9 I get this error.
    alsa-resetcm drop error: Input/output error

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Maybe worth trying ogg123 <song> : then at least you will know it is playable and that the problem is application-level
