    I Dood It Big Time :-(

    Using SuSe 10.1.
    I have no idea what I did and expect there is no remedy other than to reinstall.
    I have somehow put my entire file system into trash, including the icons and the tool bar.
    Might anyone have ANY idea what I may have done?

    Were you logged in as a regular user? You shouldn't have permissions to trash anything except what's in your /home/ directory.
