    installation problem with suse 10.0

    my machine is pentium 2.8 with ATI radeon xpress 200 and monitor samsung 793s 17'' and sata hard disk
    when i was trying to install suse 10.0 the installation started fine and after the completion of the first cd when the system was to reboot it hanged

    and when i turned on the system again and selected boot from hard disk option and started suse after some time it hanged

    what it showed was

    loading sata_sil
    ACPI-0212:-***Warning: Device not power manageable
    ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:00:11.0[A] -> GS 23 (level,low) ->irq 177

    then it recognised my logitech mouse as unknown logitech mouse
    then final line it showed was

    ata4: command 0x25 timeout stat 0x50 host_stat 0x64

    how can i install suse 10.0 in my system please help

    Sounds like you need to start win the noapi option.

    type noapi at the bottom of the boot screen
