So I want to print to a printer connected to a Windows machine that is on my workgroup. I am already a member of the workgroup, and have added the windows machine hostname to my hostnames. I go to the printer module in YaST, and go to Network Printers -> via SMB -> put in the workgroup name, hostname, and printer share name, and my username and password on the windows machine in and test it. It says that the print server is acessible. Good. Then i try to send a test page to the printer. It gets into the printer, but the printer doesn't print. there is a one byte file followed by a file that looks like it would be the test page. Furthermore, I can't delete the one byte file, so I have to restart the print spooler to get the printer to work again. What is going on? I was wondering if anyone else had this problem.
