10.2 beta 2 hangs with nvidia installed (switching sessions)

I've installed the Nvidia drivers using either of these instructions and everything works fine until I try and start a new session. I've tried to start a new session from the Kmenu entry and using CTRL-ALT-F2 then logging in as the wife and using startx -- :1. I've attached xsession-errors, xorg.*.logs from both a successful login and when it hangs. Also attached is my xorg.conf. The "nv" drivers of course work just fine when switching sessions. It seems to hang right were you would expect to see the splash screen but I have that disabled at the moment.

All in all probably not a big deal but it helps to be able switch sessions when you have kids.
