    Exclamation configuring my card to access the interent

    Eventually after hours of trying I finally got my wireless card installed and its recognised by Kwifimanager. It says i am connected to my connection but says access point: no access point
    local ip: unavaliable.

    Can anyone help pleade its driving me mad thanks simon

    What card do you have? If you can, please identify it. One way is to look at the output of lspci if it is an internal card. Did you install the driver yourself, or did the OS provide it? If you installed it, what did you install and how?

    easy,

    go to YaST control center, choose Network devices > Network card > pick a card you want to set up and asign IP address and subnet mask of the AP.
