    How to scan?

    This is probably very simple but to tell you the truth I've never actually done it. So, could someone please tell me how I scan my picture using my Epson RX430 printer/scanner/fax and save it as an image on Suse 10.1 with KDE?

    For scanning in linux check out SANE, http://www.sane-project.org/

    If SANE's base epson driver doesn't work to your liking, then try this one with sane: http://www.avasys.jp/english/linux_e/dl_scan.html
