    Norton Ghost.

I have been using Norton Ghost on Windows to back up my Hard Drives but it does not seem to work with Linux. The Cloning operation is successfull but the Cloned HDD will not boot. The booting starts, then GRUB with a flashing prompt appears, but nothing can be entered, the system just hangs at that.
Does anyone know of a Ghost like program that works with SUSE 10.1 Linux.
    Thanks.

Hmm, I've used ghost quite a bit for linux and osx without a hitch; however, try partimage...it also works really well.
    Operating System: GNU Emacs

It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
