    Unhappy Child exited due to SIGSEGV

    This is a message I get when trying to update software on Suse Enterprise desktop. I get the same when trying to install software using "install software" tool in suse.

    suse_register - Child exited due to SIGSEGV

    While following the instructions to add YUM servers - openSUSE.

    I ran suse_register and recieved the following error.

    ERROR: Could not add 'http://suse.mirrors.tds.net/pub/suse/update/10.1': Failed to parse XML metadata: Child exited due to SIGSEGV
