Hi,
I have a audigy2 ZS and that driver is the one it installed on the installation it worked but not 'all', suse 10.0_64 the 'Bible' book edition. I was using kmix, and from memory 'it was a year ago' i'm sure i couldent get it to work in alsamixer, I never tryed the multiple speakers as i am running into an amp, The spidf defo does not work as it says on the alsa site though i never confirmed this. What made me rip it out was there was no line in, in either krecord or audacity which for me has rendered it useless, gutted £100 for rubbish booo creative for not opening your drivers.
P.s If i was you i would re-install with the basic kde or knome, i have not been back to knome since my fail at ubuntu. accept the defaults and then install what you need and no more through yast. It is advised to log in after installation and then out and shutdown. before doing anything just to let it settle.
PPs my sig is out of date, no audigy no gravis, dell e171fp and 2 466 one is even a dx, he he
