    Internet- slow and beyond usable.

As I posted in a previous thread, I was having trouble with my Atheros based wifi card.

I believe I have resolved all issues, and am to the point where I can connect to my neighbours internet at a signal strength of 30-100 and browse the web with firefox (very slowly). Just then I finally got my own network to connect at a signal strength of 47-54 and for Mozilla not to instantly say "check for errors such as ww. instead of www., proxy configuration, make sure you are connected, blabla". Instead, it took a minute. The loading bar was half way through before it gave me the finger.

Ping results tell me I'm picking up 64 bytes every 0.03 seconds.

Is there something I'm missing? What factors could be causing this? Tell me if you know what I need to check, PLEASE. So far I've had 2 months of hell with Wifi and Linux. I think wifi just hates me .

Thankyou all who read this and try to help!

Try adding your ISP's DNS servers to /etc/resolv.conf and see if it improves. If you can't find them check out www.opendns.org and use theirs.
