Problem enabling xgl on my system

Problem enabling xgl on my system.
I have a Dell desktop Pentium 4, 2.4 GHz processor , ATI Radeon 9550 graphics card with 256 MB memory. Suse 10.1 OS.
I followed the instructions on the opensuse.org site and was able to activate 3D Graphics with no problem. But when I enable XGL I get the message: gnome-xgl-switch: line 32: /opt/gnome/sbin/gdm-safe-restart no such file or directory. Anyone tell me what I can do to get xgl to work.

You might be able to start the system in runsafe mode aka safe mode and try to enable it then, im not too sure what that error means so i cant really help much but i will keep lookin in on that and let u know what i can find out... make sure your 3d accel is enabled.. Best of luck...
