SuSE 9.3 with XP and on-board RAId

I decided to finally give dual-booting a try on my XP desktop. The current setup has an on-board RAID controller with 2x160Gig drives in RAID 1 config. This config currently has 4 partitions (C,D,E,F).

I would like to install SuSE on partition E. However, I get an error message during the information gathering that says software RAID is not supported with the 2.6 kernal but was under 2.4. If I continue, it wants to wipe the disks and start from scratch. That's not good!!

Any suggestions to get around this?
