SuSE dual boot on the Mac Pro?

I am not sure if this is even possible but i am trying to dual boot suse linux 10.0 on my intel mac pro. In safe mode the installation goes fine until i recies this error message: "system error code -1012...setting type of partition /dev/hdb1/ to 82. I have no idea if this is just because im trying to install it onto a mac or what. Any help would be appreciated.

It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Hey, a buddy of mine, who happens to be a Mac guru, tri booted Mac, Windows Vista and SLED 10, crazy i know. But i believe that he used a live cd for the linux os, but im not too sure. If you could get ahold of a live cd that might be your best bet, ive heard its a pain to even dual boot with Mac/Linux. Best of luck.
