Mouse scrolling doesn't work
Hello,
I can't get to use the mouse scroll wheel to work.
I checked the mouse settings (scrolling enabled) and the xorg.conf file, both seem ok.
My mouse is a razer copperhead. Does anyone have an idea why it doesn't work?Code:Section "InputDevice" Driver "mouse" Identifier "Mouse[1]" Option "AutoSoft" "on" Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice" Option "Name" "<undefined>" Option "Protocol" "Auto" Option "Vendor" "Sysp" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" EndSection
Thanks
Stan

Its hard to say, but try configuring the mouse under YaST, rather then manipulate it through a terminal session. Also when you configure it through YaST make sure you give exact details on Make, model and such it makes a defference. Best of luck.

That's what I did. (configured with YaST) Unfortunately, my mouse is not in the list of known models.

Tell you what, this may not help you but it might make you wonder...
I have a Phillips 17" CRT monitor, 107E5 is the exact model number. SuSE detected it upon installation and the installation went fine (no graphical disorientations)
Anyway when I boot up my lines were skew (both horizontal and vertical) and the picture didn't quite fit into the screen. Anyway I installed my nVidia drivers hoping that it might do the trick but it didn't. So i changed my monitor type to the last model on the "Tatung" list, mind you, I've never heard of such a make, but voila! There it was with a perfect fit.
So search google it might be that your mouse is configured under some different model/driver...
