Why does it keep asking for installation cd???
hi everyone,
i am trying to install mythtv from yast.
on the installation source option of yast i have removed the cd's....and i have added 2 or 3 repos.
on the software managment of yast when i try to install several packages of mythtv its asking me to insert cd!
i thought i was throught with it after i deleted the cd path from the installation source...
what am i doing wrong?
is it possible that those repositories are down or dont contain myth packages, so it asks me for cds as a last resource?
shall i have to add more repos if that is the case?
do you know any that contain mythtv?
sorry if i ask something stupid but i am nub!
thanx people!

If you are installing on 10.2, you can use this site to help you out with a mythTV installation:
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Opensuse_10.2
You will need your CD's for some of the packages, unless you can find an Installation Source that has them.

just insert the cd's
when you installed SUSE, you didn't install everything that was on the cd's. All it is wanting is for you to put the cd's back in the drive so it can pull off a file that is required to resolve a dependancy. This is normal. If you don't want to have to do that in the future you could just download the contents of all the cd's into a directory and point yast to that directory, as a repository. Then it will not ask for the cd's. I hope this helps.
