Startup Problem
Hello all. I am a n00b in every sense of the word to Linux, but I don't expect any mercy.
Anywho, I installed the 64 bit suse 10.1 this evening. The installation went fine except for the internet connection, where it detected my ethernet card but wouldn't connect. I'm guessing a driver error.
But the real problem is this; I restart, get into GRUB, boot into SuSE (dual boot with windows) it loads somewhat and just where it looks like it may load KDE it stops with a black screen with only a blue underscore in the corner.
Could this be a video driver problem? My card is a nVidia nx6600.
I had suse running on a virtual machine connected to the net with everything working fine before I installed.
Any help would be much appreciated.
