Error Message on Startup
Hi. OK this is my third post. I'm still really new to Linux. I have SUSE 10.1.
I keep getting this error message right after start up, and would like to figure out whats causing it.
It goes as follows:
DCOP communications error (Konqueror)
There was an error setting up inter-process communications for KDE. The message returned by the system was:
Could not open network socket
Please check that the "dcopserver" program is running!
Now I'm assuming it is somehow related to Konqueror, although I have no idea why its trying to run right after my computer is starting up. I don't know why it needs a network socket (and I'm not sure what they are) and I don't know how to check if the dcopserver program is running
I don't know why the message is popping up considering that everything seems to be working properly and I'm using Konqueror as I type this.
I would appreciate it if someone could point me to some reading material or explain some of these things to me.
Thank you.
