ok so i have had linux before and i have not like it because i couldnt use NTFS file system. however i have just learned that there is a whole bunch of stuff with NTFS for linux (please excuse my newbiness) but anyway i have heard things about it not being stable and stuff and and i know there a re alot of diferent progects out there to do this so i was wondering wich one is the most stable or if SUSE 10.2 now supports NTFS reading/WRITING?

most of Linux distros support NTFS read access out of box. there are a few packages which enables NTFS write access too. ntfs-3g is most promising and stable.
casperIt is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

SuSe mounts NTFS partition by default and you can read NTFS partitions.
check this thread to install 'ntfs-3g' package for NTFS 'write' access.
