Creative Audigy SE not working properly

I have just recently installed SuSE 10.2, and everything works great except for my sound card.
I have a Creative Audigy SE

When I go into YaST and play a test sound on the sound card, everything sounds great. However, when I try to play music, I always get an error saying that the sound card is in use or the program just says that the sound card can not be found.

Anyone else have issues with this?

EDIT: Apparently this issue is only affecting gstreamer. When I play music with amarok everything is alright.
EDIT: I fixed the issue. Only root was able to play sounds so, it turned out to be a permissions issue. I did "chmod 666 /dev/dsp" and "chmod 666/dev/mixer" and everything works now.

Try adding your user to group "audio".
