Problem in hardware detection in 10.2
Hi am using suse 10.2 final release & its just working on my pc.
But while installing when it came to hardware detection its just got stuck how ever my Teacher from whom i am learning linux managed to install it.
My question is why it is having problem while hardware detection because earlier its was not having problem with my pc when was using sled 9 . But since sled 10 it is creating problem and finally in 10.2 it is there.
I am using the same Pc which i was using in sled 9
processor - intel p4
motherbord - Mercury
chipset - 845GL
Ram -- 256 MB
Earlier i was running sled 9 on 128 ram & still it was running.
If any body can solve this problem please let me know
Looking forward to reply

No molly
I dont know where its going wrong but when it comes to hardware detection it just stuck. May be some graphics problem, I think its detecting but not showing on the screen. sax2 is also not running properly on the virtual terminal F3.
If you know how to trace it out which piece of hardware is creating problem please let me know, because as i said earlier my hardware was working fine till SLED 9, thinks r going wrong from 10 onwards.
