    Administrating Linux from Remote Machines

    Hi all,
    i am using suse linux enterprise edition 9. i want to administrate linux server like creating users, groups ,configuring services and e.t.c from remote system ( any machine running with windows in the network)

    help me in enable proper services along with port numbers.

    ssh

    can you SSH to your linux box using putty from other windows machine in the network? if you can login as root, you can pretty much do anything in there right?

    here i want to administrate suse linux enterprise edition 9 from other machines in the network(LAN) like accessing linuxconf from remote machines using 98 port number via web browser.
