I am using suse linux enterprise 9. i want configure samba server on the same server. what is the procedure to enable SWAT and accessing linux machine in my LAN

Its simple. you can simply access the SAMBA services through YaST under network services. From there you can edit practically anything you need to. Keep me updated. Best of luck.
