What up, I'm having an irritating problem I could use some help with...
I was looking through some unlabeled CDs yesterday by putting them into the drive one after another when they suddenly stopped loading. I tried to unmount and remount the CD drive, but Linux just can't find it anymore. I have no idea what caused this to happen (I was just using the drive the way it's meant to be used -- you know, by putting CDs in it) but I've tried using umount and mount to get it back, with no success though.
I'm new to Linux, so I may not be using the commands properly, and I don't fully understand the way Linux names drives either. Since what caused this isn't clear, maybe mounting isn't the problem and something else needs to be done...If you know what that is, I'd love to hear it.
