- 12-18-2006 #2just make sure that Windows installer install it in the partition you created. during installation, dont resize or select any other option related to partitions.what should I do b4 I start installing Windows?
Windows will rewrite MBR and you have to re-install GRUB.
after Windows installation, boot up from SuSe installation CD/DVD, select Installation, select 'Upgrade' in next screen. click on next, next... this will re-install GRUB.
CasperIt is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

after trying to install windows,it sais me that I cann't make a new partition cause maximum partion number was reached,so I formated the whole disk to NTFS and I am going to make a new partition for windows and linux from the start...no programs or files are going to be lost ( cause I didn't have any
) just about 2 hours of my life are going to be spared for once again in installation proccess...
,anyway
