    can you explain a little bit more? how did you install 'Cfengine'? what error message you get on trying to RUN it?

    ownloaded a rpm from the cfengine......

    Hi;
    Well i downloaded a rpm from the cfengine official website and installed it .......
    I went through the document as well , i mean the tutorial which states how to make classes and stuff... i am pretty much ok with that ... but as of now i havent understood where is the cfagent.conf and update.conf file ... ??? Are they present or do i need to create them....???
    What infleunce these files have on the cfengine program.????

    you have to configure these files manually. cfagent.conf update.conf these are examples of generic conf files.

    hmmm

    ok so i need to create them mannualy .... Do i have to create it at the same location where my cfagent is or somewhere else ????
