    Isn't Yast still in SUSE 10.2 (Sorry, haven't gotten around to trying 10.2 yet). If Yast is still there Yast -> Network -> Network Card.

    Also make sure you install the IPW drivers if you have an intel3945 card.

    I installed suse 10.2 on my laptop Dell Inspiron 6400, and have the same problem. I searched around, and one suggestion is to disable the wireless hot key in bios, but did not work for me either.

    I have been struggling on this, and so far no luck yet.
