    usb internet connection

    Currently I am trying to connect my suse 10.1 to the internet via firewire to usb from my cable modem. I have tried numerous things in yast to get a connection but so far nothing, anyone have any ideas?

    Firewire is used to transfer data to high bandwidth storage devices...I'm not exactly so sure that you can use it to transfer Internet packets. Just go out to your Wal-Mart or wherever, and get a Belkin Cat5(Category Five) Cable, and a router if you just NEED one, and run it to your computer.

    yeah it looks like i might have to, do you know any good routers that will do wireless and ethernet routing in one box?
