Installing Linux from iso located on harddisk

Hi all, can any body tell me how to install linux from the DVD iso located on the harddisk.

I have installed sled 9 & i want to install opensuse 10.2 & I have downloaded the DVD iso but i do not have any dvd drive & i want to install it from the hard disk it self can any on tell how to do it.

extract the iso(u can do it with winrar) into a folder and place in a fat or ext partition
get the 1st cd or atleast the Start-CD-Image from the opensuse website and burn it to a cd

at the initial boot u will have options at the bottom of the screen for the installation source
select hard disk there
then it will prompt for the location of that folder
just give it and the insallation goes normal

see I have done this way. I have open suse dvd iso with me & i have novell linux desktop 9 installed on my computer.

First i have mounted this iso on the same hard disk other then the linux partition that is hda5 then I have copied this whole mounted folder to the linux partition & then booted with my linux.

now while starting I pressed escape & i started the command prompt that is grub > there I started installing first root (hdo,1) then I installed kernel & initrd from the mounted image then I booted. Then the installation starts & It gives me some options that is mount from net, cd , hard disk, then i selected hard disk & my installation started & the yast started but while installation it gives me the error cannot located database.

can you figure it out what is the problem. If you tell me some tech details i can understand because presently i am learning NCLP course with a novell partner.
