    problem with *.package files

    I'm trying to install Kmess on my computer and i get this message:

    (autosu-gtk:8957): Pango-WARNING **: No builtin or dynamically loaded modules
    were found. Pango will not work correctly. This probably means
    there was an error in the creation of:
    '/etc/opt/gnome/pango/pango.modules'
    You may be able to recreate this file by running pango-querymodules.

    (autosu-gtk:8957): Pango-CRITICAL **: _pango_engine_shape_shape: assertion `PANGO_IS_FONT (font)' failed

    Pango-ERROR **: file shape.c: line 75 (pango_shape): assertion failed: (glyphs->num_glyphs > 0)

    and it won't install.... I have no clue whats going on
    I also get a similar pango error when i try to install the Autopackage GUI.

    I would recommend you just install an RPM file of KMess. Here's a link you can look at:

    I've not played much with AutoPackage, but I don't think the program is quite ready for prime time just yet. Have you considered using GAIM or Kopete? They also support the MSN protocol as far as I know.

    Yeah...I desided to use Kopete instead. It will work.
    It weird because I've installed several autopackages before and suddenly these ones won't work.
