Suse and Windows Boot Problems
I am currently booting both Windows XP and Suse 10.1. My problem is that I cannot boot into Windows. The blue Suse Grub screen comes up after booting, and gives me 2 options, Suse 10.1, or Suse 10.1 in a "Safe Mode."
My setup is as follows:
1st Hard Drive, which was installed first, which contains Windows XP
2nd Hard Drive, installed after 1st, contains Suse 10.1
I have most of my files and important stuff on my Windows Hard Drive with Windows, and would really like to recover that primarily. I tried booting into GParted to delete the Suse partitions, but GParted froze after a certain point.
I put my Windows Installation CD into my computer and entered Repair Mode, where I ran the FIXMBR command, but this did not help.
Any insight?

whats the current status of OS'? did you delete SuSe partition or is it still there?
in case, SuSe is still installed and you can boot it up, execute 'fdisk -l' command in terminal/konsole and post output here. you must be logged in as root to execute fsidk command.
CasperIt is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

First its FIXNBR trust me. but second if you can still boot suse 10.1 go into yast under root. find out what partition windows is. do this by selecting system or the right side of the screen. select partitioner. it will say dont mess with unless experienced, dont worry were not changing anything. write down the partititon names "windows". ok close partitoner and open "boot loader". add a new boot selection called Windows and put in the partition you wrote down.

Well the way i found it was when i was 12, I had a pirated version of Windows Xp. Anyway i wanted to test the xp cd to its limits, trying to fully learn and understand xp. In the recovery console after i had finaly put suse 9.3 pro in my pc, I went to help and i found FIXNBR. So i tried it and then i thought i had lost linux so i reinstalled it. Then later i learned differently.
If you don't have a Windows xp cd i will give you a burned copy only and only to test the FIXNBR
I don't want people to think i install illegal things on anything. but that is that
