Smart (is it really smart)

hello again.i notice that the following has been an issue.. making smart work with proxy server.Some time ago i tried but was unsuccesful, so i get my buddy (a very guru linux user) to check out smart but he couldnt do anything..can anybody help..

i havent downloaded opensuse10.2 yet and i hope this is something they have fix in it.

I'm not sure offhand, it should work fine with the Network settings (proxy information) set up as the "universal" configuration. You can set it up through YaST. I would subscribe to the mailing list @ http://labix.org/smart
