SuSe 9.3 (from Dummy Book) and Linksys PCMCIA Card

I am so happy about Linux. After many years of Windows, I think this is the best OS one could have. I purchased the Dummy book, Suse Linux 9.3 for Dummies and installed it on my laptop (Dell). It was a snap. I wish I could've downloaded it but think the best way for me was a the DVD disk.

However I have not been able to get my Linksys PCMCIA card to work with Suse yet. When I hook up the physical network Cat I get on the net with no problem. Although Kronqueror doesn't seem to let me browse, Mozilla (which I have always used) does.

Anyone know if the Linksys wireless pcmcia card works with Suse 9.3? Once I get it to work on my laptop I will port to my desktop.

    Thanks
    Dennis in Cali.

    Linksys PMCIA Card

Try logging on to the Linksys site. They changed the chip in V4 of the set. If it's a Ralink chip, just go to the Ralink site and dl the RA2500 software. Untar, follow the directions and you should be good tom go
