    Flash plug-in not working

I'm a SUSE 10 (32-bit) newbie. My Adobe flash player plug-in isn't working and I'm wondering if it's actually supported on the distro/version.

    /usr/lib/browser-plugins/ has the following files:
    -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 2158864 2006-10-27 15:42 libflashplayer.so
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 856 2006-10-27 15:42 flashplayer.xpt

I changed the libflashplayer.so permissions to 777 just to see if that was the problem, no luck.

Any hints would be really appreciated.

    Forgot to add, Firefox 2

    James,

The trick is copying the libflashplayer.so and flashplayer.xpt to the right place.

In my case it was /usr/lib/firefox/plugins

Hope this helps. Welcome to Novell/SuSE neighborhood.
