    Resolution Distortion

    Hello,

I just installed SuSE 10.1, and I am amazed.
    I like it alot.

Ok here is my problem, when I installed it, the resolution was set to 1440x1000, and my monitor is only capable of 1440x900, so it cut off a bit of the screen, but when i moved my mouse over to the part that was cut off, it scrolled over. I switched the resolution to 1440x900, and now all the text that appears on the screen is squished.

The text is still readable, but it is very, very annoying.

    Please help.
    Thanks in advance.

in GRUB screen, select SuSe title and press 3. press 'Enter' key. SuSe will boot up in command line mode and drop you at command line login prompt. log in as root and execute 'sax2'. configure display settings. execute 'startx' to check GUI.

It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
