OpenSUSE 10.2 installation variations in Gnome
I have installed/reinstalled OpenSUSE 10.2 at least 8 times on multiple hard drives and multiple computers, mostly with the same software, etc. There are two variations in the Gnome desktop I haven't been able to nail down.
1) The font for the time display never seems to be the same. Further, I haven't located the handle for changing it (KDE is easy ... Gnome, otherwise).
2) Some installations leave me without a dial-up option. I always install kinternet, but often when I initiate it the plug icon never appears. Consequently, I have to switch to KDE to access dial-up.
What "Help" that's provides is truly not helpful. Any clues would be helpful.
Thanks.
