HELP With Wireless Connection!
I have just installed openSUSE onto my laptop and am having trouble with connecting to my wireless network. I am completly new at using linux so please bear with me.
I have a Belkin F5D7010 network card and a Belkin F5D7632-4 wireless router. I used Yast to configure the network name and the key but it doesn't connect. The icon in the bottom right corner spins round for about a minute then the 2 computers with a red cross follows. I click on the computers and it shows the na me of my network with a shield with a cross on it next to the network name when i click on it, it asks me for my network key and ive crossed checked with my windows wireless settings and its all correct but it just won't connect!
Please help

Did you configure via yast?
(sudo /sbin/yast2 lan)
If so, did you choose the right key input type, where it gives you the options
ASCII, Hexadecimal, Password?
(in my case it's Hexadecimal)

Still no luck
Hi,
Have made sure all my settings in Yast are correct but in Yast it says in network devices the full name of my network device belkin .... But in knetworkmanager when I click connect to other network it says ralink rt2500 (wlan0), is this right? Also whenever I click the connecting icon in the panel it says that the singal strength is 28% even though I'm right next to my router. My belkin adapter lights are on to show somethings happening, I also installed kwifimanager and everytime I click scan for networks it says no networks found.
How fustrating!
Thanks for any help you can give me.
