    Updating bootloader SuSe 10.0

I have a question regarding the bootloader in SuSe 10.0. When I installed 10.0 I let it update my old 9.3 installation and now on boot-up GRUB will only start SuSe or Windows and not my 3 other Linux installations. When I try these other distros I get an error code saving 'file is not found' (I think the error code is 15). Also the boot-up sequence only occors in verbose mode.

Having said that, I made a boot-up floppy for 9.3 some time ago using instructions Flatline (where's he these days?) gave me in this forum and that floppy still boots everything. So here's what I would like to know, can I substitute the MBR with what's on the floppy? If yes how do I do it and can it be done via YaST?

    Thanks,

    Martin

If there is a grub.conf or menu.lst on the floppy, it may be possible to just copy it over SUSE's new menu.lst... (to be safe, I'd suggest you make a backup of the new SUSE menu.lst file).
The bootloader config can be found in /boot/grub/
