    Menus in 10.2

I have not installed yet but I really really don't like the new menus in 10.2.

From screen shots it looks like a MS XP start menu on steroids. This might be fine for noobs moving from MS but I want my menus like I want my menus. I've gone to a lot of trouble getting mine the way I want them.

Does any one know if it is possible to run the 10.1 style menus on KDE??

Or if possible how hard to switch??

If I do an upgrade is it going to force these ugly menus on me??

It does have the new KDE menu by default. To change it back to the traditional KDE menu, simply right click it and choose "Switch to KDE Menu Style".

Suse 10.2 an option to use the default KDE menu. Just right click on kicker, navigate where you configure the menus looks etc, there should be an option somewhere to change from the kickoff menu to the default kde menu.

Cool. It was the one thing really making me wait to install. When I next have some free time I'll give it a shot

    Thanks
