System font issues on Suse 10.2

    Hi everybody,

I've been using Suse 10.1 (GNOME) for a while now. After installing a program, eclipse I think, through yast2 last night all the system text disappeared from my system. After rebooting a found all the text had disappeared. I had suse 10.2 on DVD so decided it was time for an update. This hasn't corrected my problem as you can see from the screenshot.

I'm a bit a stuck now. Does any one know what happened or what I can do to get my fonts back? Everything else works on system and all the fonts in all the programs are still fine.

Thanks for your time and responses

    Try running fc-cache.

You can 'man fc-cache' and google fc-cache for more info.

Got it sorted now. Due to me installing a different version of Pango from source and it not completing right. Just re-installed it off the disk.

    Thanks for the reply.
