Its in Open SUSE 10.2.
And YaSt seems to freeze anytime you want to download a file thats bigger then 50MB in size. Anything smaller is ok, just large files lock up the computer and it needs a cold boot..

First, for openSUSE 10.2, the install process for the nvidia driver is a little easier, as Nvidia has set up a YaST repository at
Protocol: HTTP
Server Name: : download.nvidia.com
Directory on Server: /opensuse/10.2
Add this information in Installation Sources. Then you can download the driver.
But the problem you're having now is that YaST is freezing up while downloading. Are you on a dial-up connection? Is the repository you're using geographically close? You might want to try running the YaST Online Update Configuration module. This finds an update server closer to you. That may help.
Best of luck. Keep us posted.
