    deleting cache in suse 10.1

    hi 2 everyone.,

    i am new to this Linux world.,

    i have installed suse 10.1 in my system.,

    my question is after using the machine for sometime, the cache is getting filled.,

    how to clear it without restart?

    even qutting the application(like GIMP) is not clearing the cache automatically.,
